Database Hiccup

One of our central databases had a hiccup that may have caused some temporary mapping and search issues. It was resolved almost as soon as it happened, and should now be recovering.

Our intermittent Lindex purchase errors today have brought us to the conclusion that we will need to shut off in world Lindex transactions for the weekend. What does this mean exactly?

-You will not be able to purchase Lindens in the viewer this weekend

-You will not be able to complete a purchase in world if you do not have sufficient balance to purchase the item

-You WILL be able to purchase Lindens through the Buy L$ page of the web site: https://secondlife.com/currency/buy.php

-You WILL be able to purchase items with your available L$ balance

We will update on Monday with the in world purchasing status as soon as we are able.

[UPDATE] Asset Server Problems

 [19:52] Although some of the symptoms seem to have eased off we are still working on this issue. We will continue to update and will provide further explanation of the problem once we have resolved it.

We are experienceing asset server problems again this morning. We are working on it as quickly as we can. We will be updating here as soon as we know more. Thank you for your patience.

[Update] Asset Server Issues

[ 4:04] Problems with the asset server may include inventory loss, objects rezzed may not load and may not return to your inventory.  Please be cautious about using your inventory during this time. We will update as we have more information.

[3:43] We are continuing to have trouble with our central file store (the “asset server”). We are still investigating. We will continue to update as we have news… or just to let you know we are still on it.

We are aware that we are having some challenges which may effect logins, rezzing of objects and uploads. We are working on it, will update when we have more information.

The billing support and concierge phone lines are struggling a bit right now, our VOIP provider is having trouble and are in the process of rebooting their servers. Please bear with us while they get themselves back together. We’ll update when they are stable again.
