It was recently noted that the memory limit for a sim was around 500 MB. That's right. New car prices for a half gig of ram!!

Paulo, I believe you can access a sim by using its HTTP address (or visiting the EVENTS page and clicking in from any event).

And I agree, removal of that prefernces button just seems to be one of those duh things.

A thought: since the preferences button has been removed how are we meant to do this, any ideas?:
Update 7:28 PM PST Logins may also be affected. If you are having difficulty with login, please attempt to login to a different region.

(Oh Schizm, just caught your tongue in cheeker about hidden fees-- like lawyers. LOL. OK, you gave me my second good chuckle for the day. LOL)

(As a side note for those not acquainted with how mainland runs... LL earns far more $$$ renting out smaller plots than they do entire sims. If they can rent sixteen 4096m plots for $25, that's far more money than one region at $295 a month. Smaller plots than 4096m increase the profit level even further. Lease out 64 1024m plots... hubba hubba kaching.) Which brings us back to the original statement that LL can most likely afford to improve the platform. Myself, I wouldn't mind raking in $5 million + a month. For that kind of cash, I could probably build a rock solid SL from scratch in a year. LOL
