As reported here, Second Life is scheduled to be offline for service this coming Wednesday from 6 a.m. until noon Pacific.The principle reason for the downtime is to upgrade the asset servers. However, a separate maintenance effort is scheduled for the voice chat system. That maintenance window is scheduled to fall well within the boundaries of the general downtime.
