The big difference Jeska is that "old" search info was available to the SL community only and NOT on the web. You can't compare the privacy issues of the two. I still maintiain that the original blog post said that changes could only be made "when we launch the new Search" at which time, by your own admission, the information could already be out there with no way to recall it.
