Ops has resolved this issue!

It turned out to be a hardware related problem. There was a hard disk in a RAID that failed and it had to be replaced.

Ops continues its investigation into this issue, logins are no longer restricted! This issue isn’t resolved and you may still experience difficulties connecting to Second Life.

Logins have been restricted to Linden Lab employees as we continue to investigate this issue.

Second Life is currently experiencing issues that may prevent residents from being able to login. The Grid Monkey has been contacted and we are looking into this issue.
