I check new first look viewer yesterday with my pro ati card. Thats realy good improvement. Windlight 3d environment looks realy beatiful. It looks like hdri powered global illumination lightning system. But even that i think objects looking little dark under the sun. I guess its related with their light refraction settings. They need to match little bit more with environmental lightning i guess. Cause they are look like have different sources than sky. They need to mix smoothly. Also outer sea of grid looks little dark on midday. It can be turquise maybe.. Fog is great, looks very realistic. Thnks for kickass environment.

This is a new sl new rules new set of orders llabs is now laying with us. But how can they continue to add features and population if they can`t even keep things stable.
This first look client is NOT STABLE! and at times crashy and totally worthless. BTW any change i can get my weekly pay for this week LLABS?!

I have to agree with others. I think the LL people need to lay off the drugs. We dont need more eye candy at the moment. We need important bugs fixed.

Prims shifting on large linked sets - Nightmare for every builder and an everyday battle for those of us trying to build the secondlife environment and objects.

Texture list in edit mode - no longer highlights the texture you have applied to the object your working on. Search for texture name, of textures you know exist, comes back with error of not found. bs.

Prims scaled snapping back to original size if scaled to their max or min size - annoying, and frequently breaks the work all together leaving some of the prims scaled and others not.

Avatar eyes changing lightness to black on their own, causing people to lose eyes they bought, and trying to contact the maker for replacements - minor but still an issue.

Asset server failing to deliver purchased items from simple single prim display packages set to sell content in the objects settings - something that should never happen.

And many more issues that have been floating around for some time now and are apparently being ignored. So you see, the last thing we need is eye candy. "Oooo pretty sky!" I could care less what the sky looks like when there are serious issues that are not being resolved. I understand LL probably has different people working on improvements than those working to fix bugs, but seriously, Fix the issues we the people have with SL before you try to give us unnecessary things such as this.

Am I the only one who is having problems with this version discoloring my prim attachments? (I'm running a geforce 6200 video card with updated drivers)

see here for example: http://www.sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=174056&sort=Pictures.PictureID+desc&Name=Ingrid+Ingersoll

Wind Light is nice in some respects but really harsh looking and bordering on garish in my opinion. They need to tone it down quite a bit. It discolors every prim in it's path and even makes trees and grass look brown and orange around sunset time.

I love how the sky looks though and i'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will resolve the issue of it tinting prims.

It is too crash prone for me to comment on. It has prompted me to uprate my graphics card, and I will try again once the postman has delivered my new card. But for now, I've had to uninstall it all to be able to use Second Life at all, and, even though I've removed it, I'm still experiencing more crashes than usual. Argh!

Love the presets; Pirate & Ghost! I have also tried these two presets with the 12 hour cycle & got some pretty awesome effectts. I set this up to sync with SL's natural cycles & tried to stay inworld for all the changes oer a 12 hour period. The cycle interface changes the presets settings as the time progresses. One prob tho is you can't save anything for the next inworld session. The bad things are prettty difficult to live with. Like not being able to log in, no edit tools & lots & lots & lots of reporting to both LL & Apple what I was up to when the viewer crashed! But overall I think WindLight is a good thing & hey you don't know what's going to happen untill you put it out for folks to try. Wil you combine WindLight with peech (I'm tired of typing)?

Love the new skies but just have one complaint. For Coastal sunset the sun sets in the east (!) where as normal sunset sets in the west (i.e.) like rl. Was this done deliberately to allow more people to see beautiful sunsets or is it a mistake??? I'd personally like the sun to set in the west (looks better from my sl porch) lol.
