Missing Your Alt? Provide Accurate Contact Information
Tuesday, May 15th, 2007 at 3:27 PM by: Jeska LindenThere have been some recent inquiries as to Second Life accounts that have been placed on hold even though the accounts have committed no Community Standards or Terms of Service violation. We assure you this is not the case. If you find that certain accounts have been locked out of logging in to Second Life and you believe you’ve have committed no violation, it’s probably because the account is in violation of Terms of Service section 2.1: You must establish an account to use Second Life, using true and accurate registration information.
Accounts that come to our attention which contain clearly inaccurate or incomplete contact information will be placed on temporary hold. This hold is not permanent, it is a pending hold until the accounts are updated with valid contact information. If you are unable to access your account, please contact our Support Team and update your account information with a valid contact information so we can get you back in-world.
