As stated by someone every single time someone complains about that: the time they bring it down is most beneficial to SL. It's morning for the techs - if something goes wrong, they have the most staff on and the most time left in the day to fix problems. Europe DOES have a chance to be part of SL, and is in fact one of the biggest parts. Try to find something worthwhile to moan about, or at least something original.

Thats not fair. After 3 Days on the road in RL I have Time tomarrow for SL - but like always its down the hole afternoon (in Europe) - LindenLabs search bad times to get Servers down - give Europe a chance to be a part of SL.

Ann Otoole: *ALL* persons using SL for political purposes should be machine banned.
*AND*
if it keeps up, such as the French community, *ALL persons from *THAT* country should be removed from SL.

This is not your political playground. Go fester your garbage in your own territory. *WE*, the SL community, do not welcome you, the political parasites, here.

I know you're usually pretty nasty, but I can't believe you just spat that bile. You have really outdone yourself. Don't you DARE speak for the SL community as "we". Your opinions are definitely not shared by the vast majority - most of the people I have met in SL are much more tolerant and would not dream of banning an entire country because of a couple of residents whose opinions differ - most of us would think this suggestion was idiotic, and rightly so. Read what you wrote and think about how much of an asshole you are sounding like. There have been plenty of people from the U.S. who have spread political crap around too - like that "impeach Bush" guy. According to your suggestion, the entire U.S. should be banned from SL - but you're probably just covering your eyes and waving your flag.

"""Usagi Musashi Says:

I running a far more powerful gc 7900 gtx that allow pulls a hell of alot of the Power supply ( 620 watt enermax Liberty ). I really don`t understa nd why sl and my system don`t match. 1.14.1 is not as stable as you might think. I am apower users . I don`t sit in places most betweem 5 to 50 I am in locations that mainly more like 80 to 100 avies on a island. These islands are very very agents in them. """

Well I really wouldn't advise going out of your way to find the most busiest places in sl to spend all your time. over 80?!?. I've been in some pretty busy sims, like 65 av's, but i've never encountered one over 80 and i've been to a LOT of sims.

In the 60 av ones I do get slowdown of course, but still no crashing. On less busy sims i'm getting 40-50 FPS at 1280x1024 resolution (windowed mode set full screen, graphics details maxed out, ansitropic on) with all kinds of other stuff running in the background, msn, photoshop etc.

So given your graphics card IS a higher spec one than my 7600GS (512mb graphics ram) it is very bizarre indeed. Maybe its a motherboard issue?, or the modem/router/firewall. hmm, or maybe that windows install is corrupted in some way, or registry issues.

Either way, it flies on mine, and it should be super flying on yours.

One thing I did notice when i made the switch from 1.13 to 1.14 was that some of the graphics preferences got reset, like the amount of graphics ram to use in sl was set to 16mb!. I immediately changed that back to 512 before running it. I'm wondering if some of those out there didn't notice that, and thats also why they're having problems *shrugs* . I doubt thats the reason in your case, but just something for others to take note of, just in case.

#77:
1.14 doesn’t crash for me at all and runs way way better and smoother than 1.13. I really dont understand why the current client is awesome for me and hell for you. Doesn’t make sense!

---

That's because *most* of the problems all these peolple have are becaus ehteir computers are in dire need of serious maintenance. 1.14 runs sweetly for me - except for a slightly jerkier movement than 1.13.

No crashing, no login problems, not of it.

NOW - before all of you with issues start flaming me:
I *did* have all those problems. Then I decided F'it and totally reintalled windows and cleaned up my machine.
Renistalled SL with *defaults* and decided to run it that way.
S-W-E-E-T - runs as advertised.
Hardly any lag, rarely ever any missing textures, never crashes and so on.
Now I am *slowly* tweaking my setting, one at a time so that when things atart going haywire, I know what to turn back.

As for lag - turn your network setting bandwidth back to 500k - it *will* help a lot! and set your camera distance back down and your computer wil puke trying to draw all those textures and particale and 3D object a half-mile away from you (not to mention downloading all that stuff at once... oh! LAG! Huh... go figure)

The point is, of all the problems people have with SL crashing and lagging and running like crap are 85 to 90% at their own machine.

I'm not saying this is your problem mr/miss (insert your name here) - what I am saying is: it may be sometyhing you want to look into.
