When you charge for any product or service I think it is imperative to keep the lines of communication as open as possible. Excellence in customer service leads to higher profit margins. I thought this was all basic knowledge. Apparently not.

The problem, Torley - from a resident's point of view (or mine, anyhow) - is that you are making it harder to report bugs, and harder to talk to a Linden about a customer service issue.

Communication has already been dead since the other forum section were closed off a few months back, this just makes it worse. Being in world isn't always a possibility to those who work and wish to communicate with SL. Not everyone is allowed to install software on their companies computers. Thats where the forums are handy... Why not just delete the entire forum and be done with it? It's the plan we all know it.

You know what i believe is the problem? The lindens just can't handle the overflow of questions, and found a nice easy way to put a end to it. Well the reason they get so many questions is because they removed the general section where everyone usually went to. The general section used to be a good place to talk with fellow residents who you never would have met in world since the world is so large.

In my last post, i left out something. Putting everything IN-World isnt a good idea IMO, some of us are wanting to communicate from work, and cant just install the software on a business computer.

I knew eventually the lindens would close that forum section too... It's only a matter of time before they cut off ALL communication.

How does one report a problem with the web site? The transaction history page of My Account has been lagging from 5-8 hours for a week now, making it impossible to monitor sales during the day from the web site. I don't know how to report this, or if it has been addressed by a comment already.

Suggestion Torley....took a look at the page and you need to remove forums. It is "Linden Contact" information, the forums are no longer a way to contact the Lindens. I'm also amazed to see that your "Support Page" is not it's own category...please give it it's own entry.

I'm also wondnering if there is a way to contact LL and get an answer to an important support question within 24 hours, and if so what is it?

Once I have emailed, bug reported, and so forth..... about how long can I expect to wait before a Linden feels it is worth his or her time to recover my missing inventory? It's been missing since the beginning of December. Or am I to find my missing inventory in your knowledge base?

Linden Answers would have scaled much more beautifully if you had allowed us to reply to our own threads rather than forcing us every few weeks to start a new one since our issue had yet to be resolved.
