Estate Tool Issue: ‘Manage Telehub’ button causing crashes
Friday, January 19th, 2007 at 2:06 PM by: Jesse LindenWe’ve had many concierge clients writing/calling in the last several hours saying their islands aren’t set up right because of the problems with Manage Telehub and subdividing. It turns out that clicking the “Manage Telehub” button in the estate tools will cause a crash - no workaround is known at this time.
Trying to edit terrain (for example, to subdivide) will pop you into the Edit objects screen tab, but if you press the Land button (bulldozer, at the top of the window) from there, things should work. We are continuing to investigate this issue and will post an update here as soon as it becomes available.

Talking about estate issues - is it likely any time soon that our sim will be restored to our group ownership - it reverted to previous owner with the last update - I’ve been asking about this now for 3 days, with no result yet.

If this would be all. My SL is crashing randomly since last update. And since wednesday teleport issues happened more and more often.
You guys should fix the gird. Note break it. -.-

OK, when are you guys going to say something about the horrible performance of SL as of NOW! I’m getting pissed off at this company, over 20 thousand people on the game and it chokes. I’m sick of it.

Why u cant make ur updates on monday, then u have 5 days to repair what u destroyed with the update till the weekend.

What a piece of garbage this game has become. Instead of letting people know, your bring everyone down on a whim, and instead of disabling logins, you let them log into a 0 cash balance. Nice job, Lindens.

I anticipated a problem this weekend (just a hunch based on the last few weekends you u know) and have planned a few jobs for the weekend . More fun than watching SL lag.

While you’re at it…
No TP, No search, No Map, Can’t rez objects and a 14k inventory load took over 30 minutes.
Now in my experience this means the Asshat server is going down - as usual.
Can you get someone to kick it back into life - or put it out of it’s misery, one or the other please. This uncertainty puts me out of sorts!

No avatar appeared in the first three logins
No clothes worn shown (am naked?)
L$-balance vanished (ok, i do not shop naked anyway)
No TP poosible (ok, no money, no clothes, why the hell should i want to TP?)
during the day earlier often failed TP requests
Login after crash with various errors (like: your account has been disabled, location is in shutdown progress etc.)
Mh, when is the next wednesday? Where the grid shuts down?
I am not having business with earning money in SL. But if I would have, I would definetly be more annoyed than I already am. Actually, I pay for entrance and dont get what I pay for.
That accumulates. Earlier I have been patient, My blog entries to earlier update-issues were kind of relaxed. But now it is starting to annoy me, really annoy me.

i know this has nothing to do with estate issues but id like to point out that on logging in after logging out in the past 10 mins avatars are rendering as invsable and tps are playing up the search isnt working and my linde balance is missing

linden peoples stop with all ur gumf make the game bug free not anything ealse we dont want any “improvements” we want a playable game that we can enjoy. u lot r making this game hell to play :@ and everytime u bring out a new version it just ends up way worse

As of 3:38PM, inventory is absolutely unusable.. Clicked on a folder in my inventory, waited over 10 min (went off for a drink).. Nothing… No $L shown on the upperbar.. No t/ps, map is hozed.. Once again, the open enrollment policies of LL, causing more people on the grid than the grid was designed to accommodate, is destroying SL… The more this happens, the more paying customers, the ones making SL what it is, are going to become fatally disillusioned, and leave SL, or do like I did, and fall back to a basic account… The poor overworked “worker-bee” Lindens who are taking the heat for the stupid decisions by the upper level Lindens…

The asset and database servers are probably under very high load. Please be patient. Fuming at the Lindens won’t do any good.

The update was working fine yesterday. No probs with that. But lag is enormous right now. Another flying penises? Pfff, FIX IT!!!

lindens if u want us to help u inprove second life listen to us!!! u need to hear what we r tryin to tell u. and heres my message to u. if u can get this damned grid up for at least 2 weeks then people will be a bit happier and want to play …right now people really dont because of the constant crashes and failing.. so buck up ur ideas and get this workin right

ok.. no av body just accessories, cant use anything at all. Live help doesnt work either. Inventory is showing basically empty folders with arrows and have been losing items from inventory for days. Almost all of my furnishings for my home are gone from my inventory now. Kitchen, Bedroom, Livingroom, little odds and ends, lamps, rug and even 1 of 2 greedy greedy tables. Yesterday my partner was building and was editing a build he was working on and the whole thing disappears.. help comes in and reboots the sim.. 6 hours of work down the drain.. its no where to be found. Any of you Lindens have any ideas? would be nice to get some real answers!

To everyone whining and moaning, please you are not accelerating anything. They know that when the grid starts acting TP has issues. The $0 linden bug is known as well as other issues. Please if you have run out of patience, go elsewhere.
As to Virtouse Lilienthal they are rebuilding the system to accommodate the load. The features aren’t new at all they are bug fixes. This is a living system and it will have problems alot and often. Either you suck it up and continue on or time to go to There, laguna beach, open croquet.
You are not required to stay.
That being said they are sorry and doing the best they can. There are about 20 of them running the entire show. Remember that.

I really wish some conceren would be Put toward the FREAKING lag….
I Did NOT get a BROADBAND connection just to constantly be IRRITATED with the LAG in SL after each abd every UPDATE.
IT IS INSANE……
ATLEAST I was able to do a few things Smoothly before the up date, Now its RUBBERBANDING everywhere , Terrible Response Time to any thing, and some Conversations are completely one sided.
If you Servers ARE SO OVERLOADED Ban the freaking Particle SYStems for a while.

i have just downloaded the program and it was about to let me in when it says “unable to find last location” then crashes can someone let me know if this is normal or if it could be my comp? pretty disapointed really wanted to check it out

Err sorry, what have all these comments to do with manage Telehub Button causing crash? Did I miss something on this thread? Must have been sleeping in the UK.
Yes the pressing of the Manage Telehub causes crashing is definitely still doing it which is pretty awkward. But it is nice to see the water appearing each time I go from one island to another well done on that one. That bug has been bugging for a number of weeks.
Please sort out the manage telehub quickly though as it is a real pain in the ass.
