Update on Inventory Issues

In the process of this, some Residents reported their Inventory being partially or fully missing. As of today, this process almost complete. When we are finished, we will take a final pass at the data which should correct any incongruence with the information.
If at this point you are still having trouble with your Inventory, please post a reply here with your COMPLETE Second Life account name (first and last) and we will take a look at them (please post here even if you have already reported it if it is still not working).
Please note: if you tried to rez something and it disappeared from your inventory, or if objects of yours have vanished while in-world, those are likely different issues. Please send a bug report in Second Life from Help menu > Report Bug and IM Kona or Beast Linden with the # of the auto-reply email you get from our bug-tracking software.

After reading all of the comments, I wanted to add a few more reminders about Inventory:
- If you’re missing items that were placed on the grid somewhere and were then returned to your inventory - they may be coalesced, or clumped together, to reduce their performance impact. Kelly discusses this more here or read the knowlege base article here.
- Don’t forget to check your Lost and Found folder, I know it’s usually the first step, but sometimes people forget about it!
- Also, the “Recent Items” view really helps me find things that I just got.
- Sometimes clearing your cache can help with Inventory issues, more information here.

For some reason the client won’t even load. I’ve included the Error Signature down the bottom. If possible, could you E-mail me with a way to fix this problem. Because it’s really annoying. It’d be muchy apperciated.

My inventory normally read i had 5000 something items but all through today, including right now, it reads 1200. So yeah basically most of my inventory is not accessible including shirts i ahd creatd and most of my landmarks. I hope the problem can be fixed.:-\

I went to use some items today, and they were just plain missing from my inventory. Granted, I have a large inventory so I could have just misplaced them. But I spent about an hour sifting through it all and they were gone. Not a great loss, but still…

My Inventory has been fine but when I tried to log on just now I was invisible and without money again. It’s been a while since this has happened, I thought it was fixed along with the database/inventory changes.

Do you need to get a degree in BS ing to get a job with LL? You people are experts at double talking and passing the buck.
I have about 40K of stuff missing. It happened when I rezzed stuff so I suppose it is another problem. What in the hell will a bug report do to resolve anything?
I have tried Live Help. Never get a response. I emailed support. Never got a response. I called tech support. I was told to send an email to support because they couldn’t help. I send ANOTHER email to support. I get no response. I was told on forum to list my name. I get no response.

This is another obvious ruse to put off everyone with missing inventory. They are hoping if they keep putting us off we will forget about it.
I really love SL, but this is the most incompetent, greedy, business i have ever encountered.

I am still missing inventory myself from about a week ago when everything was going wacky also just lost a $1500 contest wizard right now trying to spawn to the ground to place it. and followed the protocol above for said item. Lets just say Im not happy about just buying Lindens for the very first and probally now the last time so I could have bought this item for my club I work at.

I have been missing my Slingo Board which costs 15K for over a week now and filed all the Bug reports, called concierge etc.. etc.. stuff that we are told to do and I receive absolutely zero response. We run a 24/7 operation and this is really killing my business. I am borrowing a board from a friend that is gracious enough to lend it to me but this is wearing thin and I want my property back!! This was a rezz issue so called when my board disappeared 9 days ago!! Come on Linden Labs I pour so much money into this game like so many others and we’ve been patient long enough. It’s time you step up to the plate and be accountable and handle these issues that have people like myself wondering if I will ever get my valuable inventory back!!! Please… give us service!!!

I am also missing inventory and cannot rez what I have. I like the others above are getting really frustrated at the lack of stability. Its always some problem thing here and I really am not looking forward to the update comming Wednesday, as the grid is still trying to recover from the last one. I still dont feel confident enough to teleport from my home island (to shop and spend….do you hear me vendors?) to the mainland because I may not be able to get back for hours. The inventory issue is horendous and it does not seem to be getting any better. But, what good would it be to purchase something and then try and rush home, if I can teleport, and then have to relog, only to watch the inventory search not be able to find the item in an inventory with over 6000 items that only under 400 actually show upafter a 15 minute search. sign me: very rezzed out of shape and relogging again

cachiiii* Comments like that are not assisting anyone in successfully weathering or repairing the issues at hand. Lindens aren’t perfect and they have a very complex product in SL, patience is of an essence!
Please everyone, I know it’s possible, let’s act like mature adults (which we claim to be) and allow these comments to be what they are intended for.
If you have inventory issues post as requested, let’s leave the complaining out. Lindens know there are problems, they don’t disappear by magic

Lost about L$800 in a no-copy HUD that simply vanished upon when it should have Rez’d. Wasn’t worth fighting over, but if the virtual stuff isn’t stable, it isn’t going to make for a stable virtual economy. I’m afraid to Rez anything that is “no copy” so merchants will now have to make tough choices to safely sell stuff to noobs like me. Help desk just tells me to chase down the merchant. It’s obvious we need safe, IP respecting, backup and restore independent of the LL database.

I reported via the bug reporter that I’d lost a whole folder and its subfolders. It still hasn’t shown up, but I’ve managed to replace everything I cared anything about.

I have noticed that some of my items are missing from inventory… Mainly some of the hair that I purchased and a few clothing items. I also have an issue with some things that became missing in world…………… But I will file the Bug report for that.

Minni Trotter was missing over 10k worth of outfit and sex toys from the first login after the 1.13 update. Another 2k worth about a week later. I have two bug reports on file, two IMs to Kona, 2 IMs to Kona and two emails to support. None of these items were rezzed with the exception of a SexXx Drive Engine (3500L) that works similar to a sexgen bed but is worn as an attachment and resses animation balls depending on which menu item selected.
Additional steps taken, more than clear caches/relog sequences than I can count as I do this often to help clear lag after TPing around various locations, uninstalled and reinstalled SL comepletely 3 times, cleared all temporary internet files and all of the above whining and a number of live help sessions.
Why am I posting about it here again after I had given up all hope? Because you asked. I still have seroius doubts that any of the items missing for nearly two weeks now will show up, at least this way I wont be so dissapointed when they dont show.

I also have items missing from my inventory, both from the last week and from the previous time, a couple of months ago, when inventory items went missing. We were told at that time that it would take quite a while for all inventory items to be returned - I think it’s been long enough now.

I guess I’ve been lucky, since I haven’t had anything turn up missing in my inventory. At all. Ever.
While I’m all for anything that will ensure that things stay that way (ie, I don’t start losing things), I’m more interested in seeing improvements in db performance. In working with other systems, my experience has been that performance and reliability tend to go hand-in-hand. That is, a system that is slow and struggling to keep up with demand is also prone to be unreliable, and vice-versa.

I have THE REAL DEAL OF THE DATABASE PROBLEM (and it doesn’t make me feel so special):
When I try to wear some stuff I bought, like a leather jacket, pants, my male shape, skin, etc. I get a message saying: ‘Failed to find bodypart/clothing/object in the DATA BASE’.
Please put my name on the list, then take my inventory and put it on whatever machine it will WORK. It has been more than a week that I’ve been looking like an idiot in SL, while others walk around blinging their best stuff, so I ask you, please fix it.

I have been without everything … Avie and entire inventory since latest upgrade … when logging in 5 days ago and after download I logged in as if I was a newbie and was offered the male female choices ect !!! to my surprise I was a newbie walking around with purple shirt and jeans and so on. I have yet to see any changes in my situation and have great concerns of recovery. Lost all my bussiness designs and hard work of two years. There is thousands of REAL dollars tied up in clothing shoes jewelry hair skins avatars and homes … Thank God !!! we don’t keep our land in our inventory !!!!
The longer this issue remains the more I think there will be no recovery !!!!
Perhaps Lindens need to spend some of their millions and invest it in to hiring more professional scriptors who know what they doing… HAHAHAHA !!!

Missing skypod and all contents after they were returned to me by the property owner Thursday midday. This represents about half of all my hard work in sl since April…may I have back my Deviant bed and suchlike please?

I am very seriously affected by this problem! On 12/9, I sold my land. All of my objects were set as not included and to be returned. All of my inventory has vanished!! I never received the notice that “objects were returned” either. I know the buyer and he has confirmed that everything vanished when he hit the buy button. I’ve done everything in the help files and filed a bug report…all to no avail. We’ve done a filter search on the land and the objects are not there either. Seems they have all vanished (estimated worth US$400-500) into the abyss of the sl database. IMO, this is inexcusable. Included in this loss is a sexgen 50 anim mattress @6000L and the sexgen bed @290L, all of my furniture, all of my pose balls, all of my flex landscaping, outdoor furniture and much more!

Jeska Linden, I have already taken all the required steps to try and get help with lost inventory items. I knew I would get no satisfaction from any of it. Here I am now told that my issue has nothing to do with the issue at hand. I will no longer use the “help” that others seem to get in SL. I loose one more item and I leave SL for good. Not that anyone would care or miss me.

This is a new problem I’ve noticed all day today, and not 100% sure if it’s an inventory problem, but it does affect inventory so thought I’d throw it out there…All day today, when purchasing anything at all I would receive two of what I was purchasing, and was charged twice for it. Thank Goodness the people I was buying from were nice enough to let me return one item for a refund, but this is really bad. Especially if I came across someone who wouldn’t give me my money back. Just thought you should know

If you bought something recently got it then it dissapeared, I sure that the person you bought it from would not mind giving you another one, I did that , I lost a part of an outfit , I IMed the maker (their account will show you bought the item and so will yours so you can tell them what and when you bought the item) After I told them the problem I had a replacement with in the hour. Much faster than dealing with SL when there are so many making reports.
This works if it is only a few items missing.
If you have a larger problem, SL will have to handle it.

Ghost Harris- I have had some items returned to me, but they have not shown up in my inventory, and I also believe I have some clothing items and other Items gone in the inventory that havent been worn or rezzed in awhile.

Missing most of my Asian furniture this includes my bed, tables, rugs, lamps, chairs and more including the sword set that I made (what gives)!. Also missing my Daisy patio table and chairs set. almost all my pose balls including many from Bit n Bobs. My romantic Jacuzzi/Hottub is missing (paid L$1700 for!) My tiger cub is missing as well as my unicorn.
Many many more items are missing as well….can I plz have them back??

I had the Res object vanish from inventory bug as well and reported it. Cleared cache, restarted, waited several days, the item still hasn’t returned. I’ve searched my inventory and my trash can, as well as the lost and found folder.
I don’t need an inventory recovery however. The item was rather new and I still had the box for it, I took it to the creator (Riann Maltese) and she was very helpful in replacing the item and helping me out.
I guess more than anything I just want to offer information that might help you track down the nature of the problem. I solved my problem last week, but not everyone is as lucky as i was.
The object had a script that ran on touch and gave me a menu. It wasn’t working so I took it into my inventory and tried to re-res it to see if that would work. The object left my inventory when I res’d it in world, but it didn’t appear in world (Endless Delirium). I waited a few hours, came back to the area I res’d it at (my home) and it wasn’t there. used the search in my inventory, checked lost and found and the trash (where I found the box from a few days prior). Someone told me that clearing Cache and relogging was helping others so I tried this. When I Came back on I checked all these places again, and still did not find the item.
Looking on the website it told me that it may be a few days before the issue was resolved, so I held tight over the weekend. A few people suggested I contact the creator of the item for a replacement since I still had the box it came in. I opted to wait the week out before contacting the creator. Checking several times in my inventory, the location I res’d it at, checking all my prims on the parcel, and checking with owners of nearby parcels to see if I didn’t just get it res’d in the parcel next to me.
After waiting a few days i contacted the maker of the item (Deviant) and she said she was willing to help. I have the item replaced, so I don’t need a recovery or anything (I’d feel better if I got it back so I could get rid of the extra, the original was a gift). I hope this helps someone else get thier stuff back though.

I have had about 6k worth of stuff missing. I have done the live help. I think it should be call dead help. As no one is there to help you. They say clear cash and relog in. All that does is, nothing. My friends list also does not work and has not since the last update. Why not go back to the old friends list. Who cares if they can see you on the map or not. If you change something and it does not work, then who is it benifiting? Please fix the missing stuff and the friends list.

Jeska - how did you conclude that I have different inventory issues? The missing inventory from an earlier date I know is different….the problem was just never resolved. But the item that I bought on 5 Dec, a Nativity Scene, that was missing when I tried to rezz it a couple of days later, seems to fit the description of the current problem as well as anything else I’ve read here.

I am a silk designer in-world. I created a silk yesterday, setting each outfit piece Copy/Mod No Transfer (as per every other silk I’ve eve made). Then I picked the object up, and when i registered in my inventory, it was No Modify. Right-click Preference wouldn’t even highlight the Modify button, it was darkened out, thus unchangable. Ok, so I drop it on the ground, right-click and Edit. The edit window tells me I’ve selected Copy and Modify, and un-selected Transfer (as per every silk I make). I pick up the object (watching very carefully to where it landed in inventory so as no to confuse the two items) and guess what? It still is no Modify.
DO SOMETHING please…. this is going to bring my product schedule crashing down… I can’t sell No Modify silks!

The items missing from my inventory are due to faulty ‘auto-return’.. once after the end of a lease on a rental apartment… and again after the sale of a parcel of land… items that should have auto-returned to me never made their way back to the inventory. I have sent a bug report for the first one… But, I didn’t know if it would do much good to send another one.
2nd… it’s completely reasonable to understand that SL is doing everything they can to resolve all issues. But, I just find it unreasonable for people to slam others for being a little frustrated. I mean… sure.. we should all exercise patience, etc.. SL probably can resolve all the issues.. but.. when there are people who have been spending money here for 2-3 years.. and their stuff is gone.. with very little info.. just sorta frustrating. Yes, I think people should be respectful.. but that doesn’t mean they are genius enough to miraculously become unaffected when they are frustrated and disappointed or feeling ignore, cheated, etc. A little better communcation would probably make a world of difference… I know there’s lots of people.. but for what people are spending here.. I would imagine they understand there will be some backlash.. and they handle it well.

Some thoughts on the missing items bugs.
from my observations in the past few days, here are some thoughts. forgive me if they are way off base …
Firstly, I’ve encountered at least two different bugs, though I suspect both are related to errors in updating my inventory under error conditions. if the UUID of an item appears to refer to a “missing” item at any point in the process (and I think this can happen temporarily, presumably due to a glithc in talking to some server), I don’t think things are rolled back properly…
Bug 1: I think that a big cause of lost inventry is to do with moving things from folder to folder. This is probably an ordering issue — I’m guessing the items are removed from the source folder before they are inserted in the destination folder. My gut feel is that this is to do with moving things which are new — the 25 gowns mentioned above is a good example — sorting them into folders was probably a very bad thing! Gut feel is that maybe things could be better if one logs off and back on before sorting the folder. Anyone got any evidence either way on that?
Bug 2: The other circumstance is failed rezing of no-copy items. I think the problem may be if the UUID is “missing”, it has been removed from inventory before it has failed to rez, and does not get put back. I think UUIDs have been turning up “missing” intermittently for quite a while. The blakc-and-white clothes with “missing£ written on them is a symptom of this.
My evidence for the second bug comes from strange behaviour of a jacket I was wearing this morning: when I fist logged on, it was “missing”. When I took it off, I saw a brief flash of the correct appearance, before the shirt underneath was revealed. Putting it back on and taking it off again gave the same result — my instinct is that *worn* items appear, made of “missing” cloth, but items rezed onto the floor don’t appear at all if the UUID is missing. Copyable rezed items don’t get lost, because they are not removed from inventory when rezed (or not rezed), but no-copy items do get lost, because they are removed! To make matters more confused, I think that the inventory must be cached somewhere, so the items still *appear* to be in inventory until one logs off and on again. Again, anyone got any evidence that doesn’t fit my scenario?
If I’m right, shouldnt’ be too hard to prevent the loss from inventory (by handling the error case differently), even if one can’t rez them …

I take in discution a real problem about “missing inventory issue”.
Personally, I have a very large selfmade and bought inventory, very large.
How can i ever find out wich one will missing?
Is there a “real” way to compare?!
Can i from SL Client to take a snapshot or a list of my inventory at a momment in time and save it to my computer!?
So i can compare later!?
And that inventory comparation to be done in automatic way ?!
How can i figure out if there is missing something in my inventory ?!

My inventory is loading very low … at times it just stops loading, other times it seems to load 1 item every second. I made a bug report yesterday.

Only a VERY small percentage of Residents even read this Blog. Perhaps you would be futher ahead to use the MotD and possibly simply send every Resident a Notecard explaining the issue, and what that Resident should (and should not) do.

Is mine an inventory problem? Nobody knows, but ALL the textures are missing from my No Copy No Modify clothing. Getting dressed in other clothing isn’t an option either - it just doesn’t display on my avatar. I have tried everything including fresh installs, clearing all caches, debugging, rebaking, editing. I am under naked house arrest. Do something please.

I’m very new to Second Life - I saved several outfits I put together in Appearance. They are sitting in my inventory displayed with the icon of a person. When I try to put on - the item says worn - but nothing happens. I don’t know whether I did something incorrectly or if this is a type of inventory bug as above. I hope that someone can tell me. What is the point of the save as if it doesn’t work.

Additionally: My bling scripts are not responding to their commands. Forgot to mention that… the script has been checked by multiple people and is written correctly. Some of the bling in an outfit will respond, some will not. Weird.

i accidentaly hit return objects in stead of show objects on my land under the my land tab. my home was returned to me but the contents ie the furnature and such all vanished from my land and inventory. i tried to clear my cache and relogging but this did not bring back my inventory. i was wondering if there is a way to retrieve these objects. i would like to list all that is missing but i never kept track. just know it was everything in the house. thanks for your time,

There seem like lots of unhappy people here on SL
I seem like I am quite lucky to have been relatively untouched…One item would not open (contacted the owner and got a replacement)…I lost some tattoo’s (still looking for them)
Perhaps…as a suggestion…make a note (on paper if necessary) the details…shop..seller…area…where you buy your most expensive (if not all) items from!! I know that its easy to say this in hindsight but after chatting to friends who have lost things I have found that most Vendors will supply you with a replacement!
Lets hope that the next update runs smoothly

SL failed to rez some ‘no copy’ items from my inventory and the sandbox I was in didn’t give them back as ‘lost and found’ when it was being cleaned

Entire inventory missing since last Thursday. Even every attachment I was wearing. Along with my skin, hair and clothing. I bugged reported this on Friday, wrote a question regarding it in Linden Answers and received no response. My inventory is 30,000 items and growing. Besides the notecards and landmarks - most is stuff I paid for with real money in nearly two years in SL. I do expect all of it returned immediately.

I put in a bug report (495010) 10 days ago for something that vanished from my land.
I understand that you guys have been pretty busy lately and that this stuff can take time. Can we get an idea of how long these things take? Will I get notified if it turns out that it can’t be restored?

There is a problem with inventory that I don’t know if anyone has seen or reported yet. It has happened to me twice and to friends at least once.
When you return a large number of objects at once using the about land menu, these objects tend to get clumped into one. No clue which one…it simply takes going through each object and rezzing it to see (which in my case was impractical because I returned several hundred items.
If you find the “magic” item and rez it, all of that missing inventory comes back, oddly enough in the same position it was before. I had my items positioned in a 9 story high-rise, so you can imagine how that looked.
Right now I have about 60 objects stuck somewhere in my inventory under the name of the “magic” item. I’d like to have all these things back in a usable form, but I just don’t have time to go through and figure out what’s what.
For at least a few of the people reporting inventory problems, I suspect this particular bug might be the issue.

A couple of hours ago I picked up a couple of cat trees and some cats from some land that I am selling, and I can’t find the cat trees and one of the cats (Luna) in my inventory now. Also I bought some long prim hair the other day and I never got it. I’m pretty sure there are other miscellaneous things missing but I can’t be sure what, and really those are the only things I’m upset about. I don’t care about the other stuff if I get those back.

That’s not a bug, that’s something LL instituted on purpose…coalesced return. I was informed about it by a Linden after I lost a chunk of rezzed inventory that had to be autoreturned due to a replicating object incident. Best guess is that my lost inventory (several thousand L$ worth) was grouped with one of the replicated objects I deleted after the return. I wish I’d known about that feature beforehand, but it’s gone now.

Kimbeau Surveryor: Wow - I don’t know how right you are in your bug observations, but it sounds like you have nailed it - if not perfectly, very close (based on what I have experienced)
Dingdong batz: Great idea - find a way to log what you have, who created it and where.when you got it.
Boss Melnitz: If I remember correctly - this is a ‘feature’ - where a group of objects returned all at once will be ‘bundled’ into one of them as a single package. Rerezzing it will replace all the objects relative to each other.
Personally - I don’t like this feature. It has stumped me too many times where I thought all my stuff was lost. or, when it all gets bundled into a worthless item and you just delete it - not realizing you are deleting all the other stuff with it.
I lost all my inventory - but I am fortunate that I got it all back.
Lindens - a word of encouragement: keep working hard. Even though some may rant - they are frustrated. We all know it’s a full team of people there working hard on these bugs.
For everyone else: If any of you have purchased anything from Child haven or Alyona Industries - just contact me in world - I’ll replace anything you have lost.
For any merchants out there - take a look at the aubreTEC ‘gift system’ - it makes for a great receipt system for your customers.
I know - not much help in my comments - but I wanted to comment. oh well.
Hopefully everyone here will get their stuff back and SL will stabilize with the next release.

It sounds like you may have the other Inventory issue, mentioned above. If you haven’t filed a bug report and contacted Kona or Beast Linden yet, please do so. If you have already, I thank you in advance for your patience.
How about after going throught all the steps with a Linden ( forget her first name) and then uninstalling SL and reinstalling, still no missing items found, then contacting Kona Linden and sending all the required information I have not heard one word from him/her or from anyone else for that matter in 6 weeks? hell of a way to run a business.

Yes, having inventory problems. Things appear and disappear and reappear again. I am not sure if I have lost anything because of the popping in and out of the inventory. Inventory features are not stable either. My Recent Items from yesterday appeared with new login today.

Do you see your Library folder when you open Inventory? There should be some system clothes in there which, while not attractive, would allow you to leave the house until things get sorted out.

I have reported this and got your autoreply of ‘looking into it’ then the reply .. “it’s fixed” .. and nothing changed.
Emails and phone calls have gone unanswered and unreturned …. on this and another issue.
oh well for what its worth … I have lost inventory on this issue and your so called feature of clumping everything into ONE item labeled “OBJECT” and then when I delete it … its my fault issue. And thank you for NOT making sure eveyone fully knew about it. A line in the update is NOT communication.

I have THE REAL DEAL OF THE DATABASE PROBLEM (and it doesn’t make me feel so special):
When I try to wear some stuff I bought, like a leather jacket, pants, my male shape, skin, etc. I get a message saying: ‘Failed to find bodypart/clothing/object in the DATA BASE’.
Please put my name on the list, then take my inventory and put it on whatever machine it will WORK. It has been more than a week that I’ve been looking like an idiot in SL, while others walk around blinging their best stuff, so I ask you, please fix it.

If you don’t have the time to seperate them all, I’d like to offer to help you with it. It sounds like restoring them should be as easy as modifying the whole (lumped) object and reducing them back to the sum of their parts.

ok i havent had the inventory problem, but lastnight i was DJ’ing and out of no where the sim went down when i got back it looked like me and everyone else kept bending in 1/2 kinda looked like they were sticking there heads up there A$$es.. well.. is that a bug or were they trying to find there inventory?!

I find irony in how people scream endlessly at LL to fix bugs, and then when they do, scream at them because of unintended side effects. Code changes often involve data changes, which can translate to tinkering with your inventory. On the plus side, LL has backups and problems are usually rectified within a few days. If only my web hosts were as competant! Spamming the support system only prevents other requests from getting through. I’ve lost items too, filed a single request, waited a few days, and boom — back to normal.
I for one support our Linden overlords. Then again, I am used to my data being ruined on a regular basis.
Suggestion: as an incentive for premium accounts, offer the option for offline backups, just in case.

Only temporarily. Once you rez the coalesced object, they separate back out and you can pick them up individually.

Will reporting our loss here actually accomplish anything????
I lost a 17,000L rug from my inventory back in November.
The Blog said to contact Live Help and make a report. So I did.
I spoke to Lucy Linden, who treated me like an idiot.
I told her that i took X, Y, & Z actions to resolve it myself before contacting her.
The first thing she asks… did you try doing X, Y, & Z? then directs me to the F1 help…
Where did she think i found the steps to take before contacting her????
A week later, still missing… Blog then says file a bug report.
So I dutifully file a bug report (#492225). Another week goes by, still nothing.
I meet a linden in world and ask about my problem.
I’m told to ask the maker for a replacement.
Hello… it’s not the maker’s problem… they didn’t lose it.
But i do anyways.
I have the original packaging and prove to their satisfaction that I bought it 6 months ago.
They replace the base rug unit… 7,000L of my 12,000L rug.
The other part will be harder to replace… the upgrade from a different merchant.
So I ask here, will reporting my loss here actually accomplish anything?
Or did i just waste another 10 minutes, reporting this… again.

I can not even itemize the number of items still missing from my inventory as it is almost over 300 items out of 1700 that I can not locate. Occuring after I did a full return from the property it was there that day, then gone the next and still gone. I can provide the names of many of the items if needed.

I’ve had the inventory issues other people have been having. The day after the update, I bought a ton of stuff on SL Boutique while I was at work. When I signed on that night and tried to drag one to the ground to get out of its box, it failed to rez and then the whole chunk of new stuff in my inventory disappeared as well. I filed a bug report and talked to live help, emptied my cache, relogged, uninstalled, etc. The items are still gone. It’s probably a couple thousand worth of $L and I’m eager to get it back. I could total it up from the SL Boutique account history if necessary. Please put me in the queue of inventories to look at.

I have a customer who can’t rez a product that she bought from me. She tries to rez it on her own land, within the prim limit, and it disappears without any error message. I trade her a new copy, she attempts to rez it again, and so on… we could go on like that for hours. How do I enable her to actually use her purchased item?
