The orders are in, and Second Life is about to see a big spurt of growth — in land this time. Over the next six weeks the land mass in Second Life is set to expand by 30% as new islands come online.

If you ordered an island, you can expect to see it go live sometime before the end of the year. We’ll be putting islands up in the order in which the orders were placed. They’ll come online as quickly as possible, dependent on the time it takes to process the orders and bring the islands up on the grid, and the sheer number involved.
